Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the strategic vision and go-to-market approach for the Solutions Engineering function.
- Lead, coach, and scale a high-performing Solutions Engineering team across global regions and core verticals.
- Operate as a player-coach, engaging in strategic deals while developing team capabilities.
- Support complex, six-figure sales cycles through technical guidance, solution architecture, demonstrations, product evaluation, and sales expertise.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor and executive point of contact for large customers.
- Partner with Sales, Product, Marketing, Engineering, and Services on verticalized go-to-market motions and solution strategy.
- Lead discovery, design, and delivery of tailored technical solutions, including proofs of concept and business value assessments.
- Build reusable solution frameworks and industry-specific technical assets.
- Advocate for customer needs internally to influence product roadmap and prioritization.
- Represent the company and Solutions Engineering function in executive meetings and strategic events.
- Foster relationships with C-level stakeholders and translate AI product capabilities into business impact.
Requirements
- 5+ years of pre-sales experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Solutions Architect, or related individual contributor.
- 2+ years of experience leading technical pre-sales teams, including hiring, mentoring, and managing high-performing teams.
- Experience selling AI, data, or highly technical products, or demonstrated deep curiosity and day-to-day use of AI.
- Ability to work effectively amid ambiguity and pressure while solving complex customer problems.
- Track record of delivering revenue targets and producing accurate forecasts while developing teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel internationally approximately once per month.
