Responsibilities
- Own the EMEA Commercial sales number, including pipeline, forecasting, and revenue attainment across the mid-market and growth segment.
- Hire, onboard, and develop a team of Commercial Account Executives.
- Drive a high-velocity sales motion with shorter cycles, strong outbound discipline, and efficient deal management.
- Coach Account Executives on territory planning, prospecting strategies, and selling to technical and business stakeholders.
- Partner with Marketing and SDR leadership to build and convert inbound and outbound pipeline across EMEA.
- Develop Commercial-specific messaging and positioning for engineering leaders and CTOs at growth-stage companies.
- Forecast and report team activity and revenue to EMEA sales leadership.
- Build scalable processes, playbooks, and onboarding frameworks.
- Collaborate with Customer Success, Product, and Legal to ensure smooth handoffs and strong retention.
- Identify expansion opportunities within the existing commercial customer base.
- Represent Vercel at industry events, developer conferences, and customer engagements.
Requirements
- 3+ years of sales leadership experience in a SaaS or technical software environment.
- Track record managing high-velocity commercial or mid-market teams.
- Ability to hire, ramp, and develop Commercial Account Executives.
- Deep understanding of commercial sales motions, pipeline management, qualification, and deal velocity.
- Experience selling to engineering, product, or technical leadership at scaling or growth-stage companies.
- Data-driven approach to team management, coaching, forecasting, and process improvement.
- Hands-on leadership style with comfort participating in deals and customer calls.
- Fluency in English.
- Based in London.
Nice to Have
- French, German, Italian, Spanish, or Arabic language skills.
- Familiarity with developer tooling, frontend infrastructure, or cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with Vercel, Next.js, or the modern web development ecosystem.
Compensation and Benefits
- London base pay range: £300,000–£330,000 OTE.
