Responsibilities
- Own Rippling’s vertical marketing strategy, identifying and prioritizing industries based on customer pain, product fit, sales signals, market size, competitive dynamics, and quantitative proof.
- Develop vertical-specific positioning and messaging that translates the platform into compelling industry narratives.
- Build and execute full-funnel go-to-market motions with Sales, Revenue Operations, Demand Generation, Enablement, and Product Marketing.
- Partner with Product and Product Marketing to identify vertical-specific gaps, evidence needs, and roadmap implications.
- Create field-ready enablement and assets, including industry one-pagers, discovery guides, pitch narratives, competitive guidance, demo guidance, proof points, customer stories, and campaign inputs.
- Hire, coach, and manage a high-performing verticals marketing team while establishing operating cadence, standards, and priorities.
- Define and measure leading and lagging indicators, including pipeline quality, win rate, attach rates, competitive performance, and message resonance.
Requirements
- 7+ years of B2B marketing experience and familiarity with vertical go-to-market motions.
- Track record of owning integrated campaigns and demand generation tied to measurable pipeline.
- Experience leading and developing high-performing marketing teams, including hiring, coaching, and talent management.
- Demonstrated cross-functional leadership and ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and at a fast pace.
- Understanding of how sellers use messaging in customer conversations, with experience creating talk tracks and enablement materials.
- Ability to use qualitative and quantitative frameworks to inform investments, diagnose performance, and make tradeoffs.
Compensation
- Salary: $183,000–$305,000 annually, plus benefits and equity.
- Final compensation may vary based on professional background, experience, and location.
