Solutions Consultant
The Solutions Consultant will define Faro’s pre-sales function, lead enterprise discovery and tailored platform demonstrations, and guide complex evaluations for life sciences clients. The role requires 7+ years in solutions consulting, sales engineering, pre-sales, or comparable consulting, with strong clinical, technical, and executive communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Build Faro’s pre-sales function, including discovery processes, demo frameworks, evaluation workflows, sales handoff standards, and reusable enablement assets.
- Partner with sales and leadership to lead discovery conversations and uncover clinical, operational, and strategic challenges.
- Design and deliver tailored demonstrations of Faro’s platform for enterprise life sciences clients.
- Support RFI responses, evaluations, customer proposals, and complex, multi-stakeholder buying processes.
- Build and maintain tailored demo environments and collateral reflecting enterprise clinical development complexity.
- Develop trusted relationships with clinical development and operations leaders, innovation stakeholders, and IT evaluators.
- Shape account strategy, identify technical champions, and communicate client feedback internally.
- Navigate integration, product, security, and compliance evaluations with technical product and implementation teams.
- Quantify business impact through ROI analysis and business case development.
- Travel as required for client engagements.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in solutions consulting, sales engineering, or pre-sales within enterprise SaaS, or comparable management consulting experience.
- Meaningful exposure to life sciences, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical clients.
- Experience leading complex evaluations across large, matrixed organizations with extended buying cycles.
- Exceptional discovery, communication, and executive stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to translate complex clinical, operational, and technical challenges into clear recommendations.
- Builder mindset with strong ownership and ability to create structure in an emerging function.
Nice-to-Haves
- Familiarity with clinical trial design, protocol development, or clinical operations workflows.
- Technical or data analytics background and comfort with deeply technical conversations.
- Experience with Veeva, Medidata, or comparable enterprise life sciences platforms.
- Experience selling or implementing AI-powered platforms in life sciences.
- Experience at a high-growth technology company.
