Senior Solutions Consultant

Responsibilities

• Identify potential roadblocks and provide thoughtful technical solutions.
• Run technical discovery processes to understand customer environments and technical risks.
• Design integrations with customers’ existing technology stacks.
• Support sales cycles by answering technical questions in RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires.
• Explain complex technical concepts and PagerDuty’s business value to stakeholders from DevOps engineers through C-level executives.
• Support native integrations and help customers optimize PagerDuty’s capabilities.
• Partner with sales, product, and cross-functional teams to drive growth and customer success.
• Manage multiple tasks independently and collaboratively using project and account management skills.
• Travel to customer sites as needed.

Requirements

• 5+ years of pre-sales experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in a technical field.
• Basic scripting ability and fundamental Linux knowledge.
• Experience selling SaaS in a competitive environment.
• Strong communication and relationship-management skills.
• Knowledge of IT monitoring tools or IT operations.
• Ability to multitask, work independently, and collaborate cross-functionally.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with New Relic, Nagios, Zenoss, Splunk, ServiceNow, or Zabbix.
• Familiarity with PagerDuty’s product space.
• Experience in both enterprise and commercial sales.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary range: $144,000–$197,200 USD.
• Potential eligibility for bonus, commission, equity, and benefits.
