Global Benefits Manager
Owns the strategy, launch, renewal, vendor management, and ongoing operation of benefits programs across assigned countries for Rippling’s global Employer of Record product. Requires 7+ years of global benefits experience and strong cross-functional execution skills.

Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end benefits lifecycle for assigned countries, including strategy, plan design, launches, renewals, pricing, vendor management, and ongoing operations.
- Research and benchmark markets to define competitive, compliant, and cost-effective benefits offerings.
- Manage broker and carrier relationships, including onboarding, contract negotiation, KYC, billing setup, and performance management.
- Lead renewals, including timelines, pricing reviews, plan changes, approvals, and execution.
- Partner with Product and Engineering on benefits system design, configuration, enhancements, and country launches.
- Coordinate with Payroll, Finance, and Operations on enrollment, billing, payments, and taxation processes.
- Enable Support, Implementation, Sales, and Customer Success teams on country-specific benefits.
- Identify dependencies, risks, gaps, and downstream impacts from policy, plan, or system changes.
- Build processes, documentation, and tooling to improve scale, accuracy, and efficiency.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in global benefits, benefits consulting, or an in-house HR or benefits function.
- Deep knowledge of international benefits, including health, ancillary, workers’ compensation, retirement, and statutory programs.
- Ability to independently own complex workstreams from strategy through execution and ongoing management.
- Strong project management, organizational, attention-to-detail, judgment, communication, and follow-through skills.
- Ability to operate in ambiguity and take action with limited guidance.
- High ownership, accountability, persistence, professionalism, integrity, and discretion.
Nice-to-haves
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets proficiency, including complex formulas and data analysis.
- Experience with HRIS and payroll platforms.
- Workers’ compensation experience.
- Proficiency in another language.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Jira, and Confluence.
Compensation
- US salary range: $91,800–$171,000, depending on location and qualifications.
- Additional compensation includes benefits and equity.
