Senior Team Member Relations Partner

Leads complex workplace investigations, advises managers on employee relations and performance matters, and partners with Legal and People teams on policy, compliance, and risk reduction. About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead sensitive investigations from intake through resolution, including interviewing team members, analyzing internal-system data, writing investigation reports, and recommending next steps.
  • Coach and advise leaders on complex team member relations issues, including performance management, while helping manage business and company risk.
  • Support proactive programs that prevent workplace issues from escalating.
  • Partner with Legal and People Business Partners to assess cases, provide context, and support consistent decisions.
  • Develop, apply, and revise policies as the organization scales, ensuring alignment with applicable requirements and company values.
  • Analyze case trends and share insights to inform programs, policies, and risk-reduction strategies.
  • Contribute to Team Member Relations and organization-wide initiatives with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Interpret employment laws and regulations and provide guidance across jurisdictions.

Requirements

  • Progressive employee or team member relations experience, including leading complex, multi-party workplace investigations.
  • Working knowledge of United States employment law relevant to team member relations, including the Family and Medical Leave Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission processes.
  • Experience working in a distributed, multi-jurisdictional, or global organization.
  • Ability to influence change without direct authority and build support across functions.
  • Clear written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including strong investigation-report writing.
  • Sound judgment, confidentiality, discretion, and empathy when handling sensitive, complex, and time-sensitive matters.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, business judgment, attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work at a quick pace.

Nice to Have

  • Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional, Professional in Human Resources, or equivalent certification.
  • Experience with employment regulations in regions outside the United States.

Compensation and Benefits

  • United States base salary range: $104,800–$176,400 USD.
  • Benefits include flexible paid time off, team member resource groups, equity compensation and employee stock purchase plan, growth and development fund, parental leave, and home office support.
