Commercial Sales Manager
Leads and scales PermitFlow’s Commercial sales pod, building the team, enterprise sales motion, and playbook from the ground up. The role requires 5+ years of enterprise SaaS sales experience, management or team-lead experience, and expertise in complex multi-stakeholder deals.

Responsibilities
- Own revenue and team execution for the Commercial sales pod, including forecasting, pipeline hygiene, and deal visibility across long, non-linear sales cycles.
- Recruit, hire, ramp, and coach Commercial Account Executives as the team scales from two to seven or more AEs.
- Lead complex, multi-threaded enterprise deals involving Architects, Engineers, Owners, GCs, real estate, and REIT stakeholders.
- Prioritize Facilities and Commercial TI/remodel programs across retail, food and beverage, fitness and wellness, healthcare, financial services, hospitality, and industrial/logistics verticals.
- Build ROI-driven business cases for enterprise owners, GCs, and architecture and engineering firm leadership.
- Partner with Solutions Consulting, BDR, Customer Success, and Operations on pilots, handoffs, delivery capacity, compensation, quota, and pipeline processes.
- Surface customer and field insights to inform commercial scaling and the broader GTM roadmap.
- Travel as needed for customer meetings, conferences, and stakeholder-network visits.
Requirements
- 5+ years of enterprise SaaS sales experience.
- 1–2+ years of management or team-lead experience; player-coach experience is a plus.
- Experience building a new sales motion and team without an established playbook.
- Expertise navigating multi-stakeholder, land-and-expand enterprise sales.
- Fluency with CRM systems, sales automation tools, and performance analytics.
- Experience building compensation and quota structures for non-standard revenue models.
- Strong problem-solving, storytelling, ROI modeling, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience selling into commercial real estate, architecture and engineering firms, retail or restaurant development, or construction technology.
- Commercial or AEC industry knowledge.
- Experience converting initial test-site or wedge deals into larger bundled and recurring-revenue contracts.
