Team Leadership
- Hire, train, and develop a high-performing team of pre-sales Solutions Architects.
- Empower the team to identify key use cases, navigate technical challenges, and build compelling proofs of concept.
- Develop strategies for the continued growth and success of the Solutions Architect organization.
- Foster continuous learning, innovation, and professional development.
Sales Excellence and Consumption Growth
- Guide the Solutions Architect team in qualifying use cases and demonstrating technical expertise to achieve regional sales targets.
- Establish the team as trusted advisors throughout the customer lifecycle.
- Lead technical qualification, proof-of-concept development, architecture discussions, product demonstrations, and implementation planning.
- Help achieve technical wins in complex sales cycles and drive multi-product adoption.
Customer Success and Value Delivery
- Ensure customers achieve significant business value from Databricks solutions.
- Build strong relationships with customers, partners, sales, and go-to-market teams.
- Collaborate across the business to maximize customer and team success.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in the data space with technical products, such as data warehousing, big data, or machine learning.
- 5+ years of experience leading technical teams, preferably in a pre-sales organization.
- Experience exceeding annual quotas and building strategic accounts.
- Proven experience serving as a trusted advisor to technical executives and guiding strategic data infrastructure decisions.
- Track record of hiring, training, and promoting qualified candidates.
- Ability to build positive team morale and effective relationships with Field Engineering, Sales, and internal partners.
Nice to Have
- Experience in the healthcare industry, particularly with hospital systems, healthcare providers, or health plans.
Compensation
- Base salary range: $192,100–$264,175 USD.
- Compensation may also include an annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits.
