Senior Partner Solutions Engineer - Federal Systems Integrators

Designs and enables Cribl architectures for Federal systems integrators, helping partners position, demonstrate, deploy, and support telemetry solutions across large government programs. The role requires pre-sales architecture experience, Federal market knowledge, strong data and security expertise, and executive-to-practitioner communication skills.

About the job

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the dedicated technical advisor to Cribl’s Federal Systems Integrator (SI) and consulting partners, from initial technical briefings through hands-on architecture workshops.
  • Partner with SI capture and solution-architecture teams to position Cribl within proposed program architectures during capture, proposal, and recompete phases.
  • Build and maintain reusable reference architectures, quick-start guides, and solution kits for SOC modernization and SIEM migration, Zero Trust data pipelines, compliance logging, cloud migration, and observability modernization.
  • Design and deliver recurring partner enablement programs, including training, bootcamps, whiteboarding sessions, and certification pathways, across the Cribl portfolio: Stream, Edge, Search, and Lake.
  • Deliver executive technical briefings to partner CTOs, chief architects, and practice leads while developing technical champions within each strategic partner.
  • Provide post-award technical support to partner delivery teams through office hours, architecture reviews, and sizing and deployment guidance.
  • Collaborate with Cribl account solutions engineers, sales, and partner managers on SI-led opportunities, maintaining shared account plans and regular technical interlocks.
  • Represent partner needs internally by bringing field insights and feedback to Cribl’s product and go-to-market teams.
  • Maintain a regular presence at partner sites across the National Capital Region.
  • Travel approximately 25–35%; occasional work outside standard hours may be required across time zones.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in pre-sales solutions engineering or solutions architecture for data, security, or observability platforms.
  • Hands-on depth in data pipeline architecture and at least one major SIEM or analytics ecosystem, with the ability to author deployable reference architectures.
  • Working knowledge of the U.S. Federal market, including FedRAMP, FISMA, and government cloud deployment models.
  • Experience working with partners, channel organizations, or systems integrators as a primary technical audience, or equivalent experience within a Federal SI.
  • A portfolio of reusable technical content personally created, such as reference architectures, implementation guides, labs, or training materials.
  • Strong executive- and practitioner-level communication skills, with the ability to lead audiences from CTO briefings to hands-on engineering workshops.
  • Experience working effectively in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Federal capture, proposal, or recompete cycles.
  • Previous partner or alliance solutions engineering experience at an enterprise software vendor.
  • Broad observability and data-engineering expertise alongside strong security experience.
  • Relevant cloud, security, or vendor certifications.
  • Active or prior U.S. security clearance.
  • Established relationships across the Federal SI ecosystem.
  • Residence in the DC/VA/MD area.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary range: $110,000–$190,000 USD.
  • Sales and some sales-adjacent roles are eligible for incentive compensation (commission); other roles participate in the Cribl Corporate Bonus Program.
  • Benefits include health, dental, vision, short-term disability, life insurance, paid holidays, paid time off, fertility treatment benefits, 401(k), and equity.
