Responsibilities
- Lead a large engineering team responsible for prospecting, account and contact records, task management, dashboards, and revenue workflows.
- Define and uphold team goals, expectations, development processes, and management practices.
- Partner with engineering leadership, Product Managers, Designers, and GTM stakeholders to deliver reliable software at scale.
- Participate in technical decisions including sprint planning, software design, code reviews, estimation, sizing, and technical direction.
- Hire, mentor, and grow engineers, including senior and staff-level engineers and managers.
- Support sustainable on-call practices and roadmap execution.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership and mentorship, including coding when needed.
- Own trade-off discussions and serve as the technical counterpart to the product lead.
- Participate in customer calls and maintain deep expertise in the team’s product surface.
Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on software engineering industry experience.
- 3–5 years of people management experience, preferably leading senior engineers and managers.
- Strong technical leadership and software architecture experience at scale.
- Experience improving engineering processes and working cross-functionally.
- Experience with Ruby and Python.
- Understanding of data privacy and security fundamentals.
- Strong technical understanding of engineering systems, particularly data-related systems.
- Strong written communication, documentation, mentoring, and strategic execution skills.
Nice to Have
- React, MongoDB, SQL, and Elasticsearch.
- Snowflake, Databricks, Airflow, and Looker.
- Experience in sales technology.
Technology
- Frontend: React, Redux, Next.js.

Compensation and Benefits
- Total cash compensation range: $225,400–$324,000 USD, depending on location and career level.
- Additional benefits may include equity, bonus, 401(k), paid holidays, flexible PTO, parental leave, wellbeing benefits, travel coverage, insurance, and medical, dental, and vision benefits.
