Senior Solutions Architect
The Senior Solutions Architect partners with Spanish customers and Account Executives to design and demonstrate complex big data solutions, guide technical adoption, and deliver proofs of concept. The role requires coding experience, cloud and analytics expertise, strong customer communication, and Spanish-English proficiency.

Responsibilities
- Build successful relationships with clients throughout Spain, providing technical and business value in collaboration with Account Executives.
- Serve as an expert in big data analytics and advise customers on architecture, design, and implementation to support adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
- Scale best practices by authoring reference architectures, how-to guides, and demo applications.
- Build the Databricks community in the region by leading workshops, seminars, and meetups.
- Develop into a technical and/or industry specialist.
Requirements
- Engage customers in technical sales, challenge their questions, guide clear outcomes, and communicate technical and value propositions.
- Develop customer relationships and internal partnerships with Account Executives and other teams.
- Prior coding experience in a core programming language such as Python, Java, or Scala, with willingness to learn Spark.
- Proficiency with big data analytics technologies, including hands-on experience delivering complex proofs of concept and working with public cloud platforms.
- Experience with use-case discovery, scoping, and delivering complex solution architecture designs to multiple audiences.
- Ability to adjust technical depth for different audiences.
- Work from the Madrid region within commuting distance for a hybrid schedule.
- Flexibility to travel up to 30% for customer meetings, events, and training.
- Business proficiency in Spanish and English.
