Senior Implementation Manager

Own hands-on technical implementations for external healthcare and telehealth clients, including platform configuration, integrations, data migration, testing, deployment, and stabilization. Requires 3–6+ years of implementation or integration experience, strong API and SQL skills, and customer-facing technical judgment.

About the job

Responsibilities

  • Translate approved client solutions into technical work breakdowns spanning configuration, integrations, data, environments, testing, deployment, and documentation.
  • Configure platform workflows using supported standards and reusable patterns.
  • Implement and validate third-party integrations using APIs, webhooks, authentication, data mapping, and connectivity methods.
  • Execute data migration, cleanup, transformation, backfill, and reconciliation activities.
  • Use SQL, APIs, logs, payloads, configuration tools, and AI-assisted scripting to implement solutions and diagnose issues.
  • Configure event-driven automation and triggering logic.
  • Partner with client technical teams to clarify requirements, exchange specifications, resolve integration issues, and validate behavior.
  • Build and execute technical test plans covering workflows, failure paths, retries, duplicate events, data integrity, permissions, and external dependencies.
  • Prepare UAT environments and data, resolve technical defects, and provide readiness evidence.
  • Determine technical readiness, provide sign-off, troubleshoot implementation and production-stabilization issues, and distinguish configuration, deployment, data, integration, third-party, and product issues.
  • Escalate genuine product defects or capability gaps with clear reproduction steps and evidence.
  • Maintain technical documentation, including mappings, integration specifications, deployment notes, test evidence, limitations, and as-built details.
  • Provide estimates, technical status, dependencies, risks, and changes to the Technical Project Manager.
  • Support go-live and stabilization, then transition implementations to Support and Customer Success.
  • Contribute reusable configurations, scripts, test packs, documentation, and implementation patterns.

Requirements

  • 3–6+ years of experience in implementation engineering, integration engineering, solutions engineering, customer engineering, application engineering, technical consulting, or support engineering.
  • Demonstrated personal implementation of technical solutions for external customers.
  • Hands-on experience with APIs, webhooks, authentication, structured payloads, data mapping, and third-party integrations.
  • Experience configuring complex SaaS platforms or implementation-specific workflows.
  • Experience with data migrations, transformations, cleanup, backfills, or reconciliation.
  • Ability to use SQL and technical debugging tools to investigate data and application behavior.
  • Experience testing complete integrations and workflows across multiple systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills using logs, payloads, configuration, test results, and reproducible scenarios.
  • Experience working with technical and nontechnical customer stakeholders.
  • Ability to produce clear technical documentation for implementation support.
  • Ability to distinguish implementation work from product defects and define required Product or Engineering support.
  • Experience supporting solutions through UAT, go-live, and production stabilization.
  • Ability to understand operational and clinical processes and translate requirements or protocols into patient workflows.
  • Self-directed ability to prioritize and execute in an ambiguous environment.

Nice to Have

  • Healthcare technology, virtual care, EHRs, pharmacy, labs, clinical workflows, revenue cycle management, or provider data experience.
  • REST APIs, event triggers, and low-code workflow or automation tools such as Zoho Flow or Zapier.
  • DNS and DNS masking experience.
  • Experience using AI for configuration, scripting, debugging, testing, or documentation while validating accuracy and safety.
