About the job
Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery, demonstrations, and validation of GitLab’s AI-powered DevSecOps platform across the software development lifecycle.
- Own technical evaluations, including solution design, proofs of concept or value, workshops, tenders, audits, and value stream assessments.
- Collaborate with Account Executives and regional sales teams on account strategies for Commercial and Enterprise customers, especially GCCs, digital-native organizations, and startups.
- Support go-to-market partners delivering Professional Services with technical guidance and engagement practices.
- Represent GitLab at webinars, industry events, presentations, roundtables, panels, demonstration days, and hackathons.
- Build trusted relationships with technical practitioners and business leaders, guide transformation, and support customer advocacy.
- Advise customers on software development, CI/CD, security, and cloud practices.
- Share customer feedback, use cases, and competitive insights with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing.
Requirements
- Experience guiding Commercial and Enterprise customers through solution design and evaluation in technical presales, consulting, or a similar role.
- Knowledge of the end-to-end software development lifecycle, modern DevSecOps practices, and CI/CD workflows.
- Hands-on experience with GitLab or comparable source control, CI/CD, and collaboration platforms.
- Practical knowledge of cloud computing, including deployment, security, and operations options.
- Experience leading proofs of concept or value, contributing to tenders or audits, and designing and delivering workshops or value stream assessments.
- Strong technical communication and presentation skills for practitioner, business, and technical audiences.
- Ability to build trusted relationships, collaborate with go-to-market and Professional Services partners, and learn new technologies.
