Leads customer-facing architecture and adoption of Databricks’ Genie product line across a local territory. The role partners with account teams and executives, architects governed analytics and AI solutions, and requires 6+ years of pre-sales or consulting experience plus SQL, Python, cloud, and data platform expertise.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with go-to-market leadership and account teams to design and execute engagement strategies across the assigned territory.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and expert Solutions Architect, building technical credibility and driving product adoption.
- Enable customers through workshops and customer-facing collateral that increase technical knowledge and thought leadership.
- Translate field-derived, data-driven insights into recommendations for Product and Engineering teams.
- Act as a tier-3 escalation point for complex technical challenges in mission-critical customer environments.
- Partner with Account Executives to develop account strategies, presentations, demonstrations, and other adoption assets.
- Collaborate with Global System Integrators and third-party consulting organizations to drive customer outcomes.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in customer-facing, pre-sales, or consulting roles influencing technical executives and driving data strategy and product adoption.
- Experience with analytics, business intelligence, and natural-language or agentic AI products.
- Deep understanding of AI governance across tools and models, including guiding customers through security concerns and blockers.
- Experience architecting governed analytics solutions integrating semantic models, data warehouses, and metric layers within Lakehouse and AI ecosystems.
- Proficiency in programming, debugging, and problem-solving with SQL and Python.
- Hands-on experience building solutions in major public cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Broad experience in at least two of the following areas: data engineering, data warehousing, business intelligence, AI, machine learning, governance, semantic modeling, natural-language analytics, and streaming.
- Undergraduate degree or higher in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or a related technical field.
