EIR - Deployment & Pilots

Responsibilities

• Own paid pilots end to end, including scope, site readiness, deployment planning, acceptance criteria, execution, and post-pilot review.
• Partner with Sales to convert paid pilots into signed commercial deployment contracts.
• Translate customer and field needs into product, hardware, software, and operational requirements.
• Coordinate engineering, deployment, safety, commercial, and customer stakeholders around milestones and decisions.
• Build playbooks for mobilization, operator training, site support, issue escalation, and handover.
• Drive customer adoption and deployment scale.
• Track pilot economics, utilization, reliability, customer outcomes, and blockers; implement corrective actions.
• Lead structured problem-solving during live deployments and feed lessons into product roadmaps.
• Evaluate use cases, partners, geographies, and operating models and recommend scaling approaches.

Requirements

• 6+ years in deployment, program management, operations, product operations, consulting, founder’s office, or an equivalent high-ownership role.
• Experience launching complex physical products, industrial systems, automation, robotics, or construction technology in customer environments.
• Strong structured problem-solving, project planning, stakeholder management, and written communication skills.
• Comfort working hands-on at sites, understanding technical issues, and driving cross-functional closure.
• Ability to turn ambiguous goals into measurable plans, owners, milestones, and operating processes.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work around customer and site schedules.

Nice-to-haves

• Construction operations, robotics deployment, industrial automation, heavy equipment, or hardware startup experience.
• Experience building new business lines, pilot-to-scale playbooks, or customer success operations.
• Familiarity with safety, commissioning, field service, unit economics, and commercial contracting.
