Responsibilities
- Identify expansion opportunities within a scaled portfolio of Ramp customers and own the sales process through close.
- Develop and execute upsell and cross-sell strategies while maintaining an expansion pipeline.
- Understand customer personas and serve as a trusted advisor and consultant.
- Use sales methodologies to uncover customer needs and pain points.
- Gather customer feedback to inform the product roadmap and customer communication strategy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to improve operational efficiency and advocate for customers.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of customer-facing or direct sales experience.
- Proven achievement in a high-velocity business environment.
- Prior CRM experience, preferably Salesforce.
- Experience with outbound prospecting and product demonstrations.
- Comfort with sales tools, processes, analytical and quantitative work.
- Consultative sales approach and interest in understanding business challenges.
- Ability to discuss Ramp’s value proposition with C-level executives, finance teams, and decision-makers.
- Consistent record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including compelling sales pitches and presentations.
- Organizational, project management, and time management skills.
- Entrepreneurial, self-starting approach and ability to work within undefined processes.
