Account Manager, Strategic Partnerships

Owns strategic health plan relationships from opportunity identification through commercial structuring, negotiation, launch, and ongoing performance management. The role requires 3–7 years of strategy, corporate development, investing, or high-growth company experience, plus strong analytical, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic points of view on assigned health plan relationships, including behavioral health priorities, internal stakeholders, and partnership opportunities.
  • Design partnership solutions involving economics, deal terms, directed volume, referral pathways, clinical programs, and risk-sharing.
  • Size opportunities, model economics, test assumptions, and prepare analyses for health plan strategy and finance teams.
  • Coordinate with co-founders and operations, product, engineering, clinical, and finance teams to build, negotiate, and execute partnerships.
  • Lead commercial structuring, including rate design, exclusivity mechanics, volume commitments, and performance economics.
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior health plan executives.
  • Own partnerships after launch by tracking performance, diagnosing issues, and adjusting structures.
  • Apply market learnings to future partnerships and inform product roadmaps and long-range planning.

Requirements

  • 3–7 years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate development, private equity, venture capital, or strategy at a high-growth company.
  • Strong performance record and ability to structure ambiguous problems.
  • Ability to take work from design through in-market execution.
  • Ability to build long-term relationships with senior external executives.
  • Strong analytical, strategic, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to evaluate second-order effects across health plan network, actuarial, and clinical teams.
  • Ability to independently develop plans and lead complex cross-functional work.

  • Hybrid base compensation: $161,000–$215,000 USD annually.
