Business Development Advisor
Own referral demand generation in the Chicago market by building healthcare and community partnerships, driving qualified referrals, and improving conversion to care. The role requires field-based service sales experience, quota ownership, CRM discipline, and extensive local travel.

Responsibilities
- Own and grow referral relationships with hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, senior living communities, and community partners.
- Execute the consultative sales process, including prospecting, cold calling, follow-up, and tailored solution development.
- Align Home Instead services with partner patient/client needs, organizational goals, and care gaps.
- Generate urgency, request referrals, and reduce friction in the referral process.
- Track activity, outcomes, and next steps in Salesforce; use CRM data to identify performance gaps and adjust outreach.
- Spend approximately 75% of time conducting field outreach across the Greater Chicagoland Area.
- Influence stakeholders within partner organizations to drive consistent referral behavior.
- Maintain, re-energize, and grow long-term referral relationships.
- Support in-home consultations, care starts, and occasional after-hours needs to strengthen partner and family relationships.
Requirements
- Experience in outside, field-based sales, specifically selling a service.
- Experience in a quota-carrying role.
- Experience in home care, healthcare, or a senior-related industry.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to use data to evaluate performance, identify gaps, and adapt outreach strategy.
- Comfort working primarily in the community and leading action-oriented conversations.
- Comfort using Salesforce, calendars, documents, Slack, and related systems.
- Experience working in or knowledge of the Chicago market.
- Ability to travel approximately 75% throughout the Greater Chicagoland Area.
Nice to Have

Compensation
- Base salary plus uncapped commission.
- Expected on-target earnings of $110,000–$120,000.
