Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Culture

  • Support HR strategic actions and planning for global expansion locations.
  • Serve as the HR point of contact for new international expansion sites and primary point of contact in Europe.
  • Act as the frontline contact for employees in expansion geographies, addressing HR questions and resolving issues.

HR Operations, Policy & Compliance

  • Prepare HR documents, including employment contracts, employee handbook revisions, and employee communications tailored to local requirements.
  • Create, iterate, and own HR policies and procedures for each new site or country.
  • Ensure compliance with HR-related legal requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Streamline administrative operations, including employee records and internal databases, across expansion geographies.

Partnerships & People Management

  • Partner with local site leadership and cross-functional departments to build and improve People processes and projects in new markets.
  • Coordinate with internal recruiting teams and external insurance vendors and EOR/PEO partners to establish HR operations in new markets.
  • Assist payroll by providing relevant employee information, including leaves of absence and parental leave, across geographies.

Requirements

  • 5–10 years of experience as an HR Generalist, HR Manager, HR Business Partner, or similar.
  • Experience leading HR for global or international expansion, including establishing HR operations in new countries or sites.
  • Ability to build rapport and serve as a trusted partner to site leadership and employees across cultures and geographies.
  • Experience implementing and enforcing HR policies and processes across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Experience managing HR investigations and leading Employee Relations actions.
  • Proficiency in GSuite and HR software programs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of relevant legal regulations.
