Manager, Enrollment
Leads a large, distributed provider enrollment operation across government and commercial payers, improving application throughput and reducing denials. Requires extensive enrollment experience, large-team people leadership, and familiarity with CAQH, PECOS, and workflow tools.

Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a team of 51 enrollment specialists covering government payer enrollment and high-volume commercial payer enrollment.
- Build a management layer of leads or supervisors and clarify escalation paths.
- Establish queues, deadlines, prioritization, and accountability standards for accurate, timely application submission.
- Analyze denied enrollment applications, identify root causes, coordinate corrections and resubmissions, and reduce denial rates.
- Manage payer follow-up cadences and escalate stalled or at-risk applications.
- Serve as the primary liaison between Enrollment and internal client-facing programs.
- Partner with Revenue Cycle Management, Sales, Payer Contracting, Medical Staff Credentialing, Compliance, and Legal.
- Build and manage an enrollment ticketing workflow in Jira.
- Track and report team throughput, application volume, and denial and approval trends.
- Coach the team, set goals, manage performance, and support career development.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in provider enrollment, credentialing, or payer relations, including both government and commercial payers.
- 2+ years of experience leading or supervising a large, high-volume operational team, ideally 25+ staff.
- Experience managing through sub-leads or supervisors.
- Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, Medicaid Advantage, and commercial payer enrollment.
- Direct telehealth experience preferred.
- Experience with multi-state or multi-region private practice enrollment.
- Ability to analyze denial and process data and identify root causes.
- Working knowledge of enrollment and credentialing systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organization and attention to detail.
