Solutions Architect, Enterprise
The Solutions Architect will advise enterprise customers and executives, design end-to-end payment and technology solutions, and lead pre-sales strategy engagements from discovery through technical win. The role requires 7+ years of customer-facing engineering experience, deep pre-sales expertise, and payments or fintech experience.

Responsibilities
- Build consultative relationships with C-level executives and technical decision-makers as a trusted advisor on mission-critical business challenges.
- Serve as a key member of account teams and help define customer strategy.
- Identify and close complex opportunities, accelerate solution adoption, and align solutions with customer product and business roadmaps.
- Advise stakeholders including CIOs, CTOs, COOs, CROs, CDOs, product engineering leaders, and payments leaders.
- Understand customer objectives and design end-to-end transformations, future roadmaps, architectures, and third-party integrations.
- Conduct business analysis and research on customers, industries, and competitors.
- Lead strategy engagements, customer discovery, executive briefings, presentations, workshops, readouts, demos, and technical-win activities.
- Expand adoption across global markets and business units by introducing new capabilities and local payment methods.
- Represent the voice of the customer to leadership, product, and engineering teams.
- Participate in sales forecasting, Quarterly Business Reviews, and account and territory planning.
- Travel approximately 25% as needed.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in a similar customer-facing engineering role, such as solution consultant, solutions architect, or sales engineer, for a global software enterprise.
- 5+ years of pre-sales experience.
- Experience in payments, billing, invoicing, issuing, banking, or fintech.
- Executive engagement, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong group-facilitation skills and confidence leading customer meetings.
- Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle and API architectures.
- Outstanding spoken and written communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment and take ownership.
- Fluent verbal and written English communication.
- Ability to travel as required.

- Experience at a growth-stage internet or software company.
