Implementation Manager, EMEA

Leads end-to-end customer implementations for an accounting platform, covering configuration, financial data migration, testing, go-live, and post-launch handoff. Requires accounting or finance experience, ERP and financial workflow knowledge, strong project management, and clear customer communication.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end customer implementations from kickoff through go-live.
  • Lead implementation projects, aligning the platform to customers’ accounting workflows and financial reporting needs.
  • Configure the platform based on customer chart of accounts, reporting structures, and operational requirements.
  • Manage data migration from source systems, including ERP, general ledger systems, and spreadsheets, ensuring financial data accuracy.
  • Lead testing and validation of financial workflows, reporting outputs, and system configuration.
  • Identify risks or discrepancies across data, processes, or timelines and drive resolution with internal teams.
  • Serve as the primary customer contact throughout implementation, providing clear communication and guidance.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Customer Experience teams to resolve technical or workflow challenges.
  • Ensure a smooth transition to Customer Success and Support after go-live.

Success Measures

  • Customers successfully go live with financial workflows and reporting fully operational.
  • Financial data and reporting outputs reconcile accurately after migration.
  • Customers are confident using the platform to manage core accounting processes at launch.
  • Implementations stay on schedule with minimal post-go-live rework.
  • Documentation is clear and handoff to the post-implementation team is smooth.

Requirements

  • Background in accounting or finance.
  • Experience in accounting, finance, or supporting financial workflows within ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks, Sage, or Oracle.
  • Strong understanding of accounting processes and financial workflows, including general ledger, reporting, close, and reconciliations.
  • Experience leading software implementations or complex system rollouts.
  • Comfort working with financial data, system configuration, and data migration.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify risks early.
  • Clear communication with finance stakeholders and technical teams, with a strong client-first mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple implementations in a fast-paced environment.

Work Arrangement

  • Based in London and requires working in the office five days per week.
