Responsibilities

  • Lead product discovery to uncover and deeply understand customer problems and test risky assumptions.
  • Create a long-term vision and strategy defining the problems the product can solve with durable competitive advantage.
  • Build iteratively to validate hypotheses and test new concepts, seeking stronger signals on new ideas.
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Design, and Data Science throughout product development.
  • Execute and iterate rapidly, emphasizing user delight, impact, and learning.
  • Balance hands-on building with strategic storytelling that creates clarity and value for users.
  • Define, measure, and improve product and business metrics, particularly payroll task coordination, roles and permissions, reports, and other core workflows.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of hands-on Product Management and/or Product leadership experience.
  • Proven track record leading R&D teams that deliver impactful results.
  • Natural curiosity, grit, customer obsession, and humility.
  • Expert product discovery and analytical skills.
  • Ability to tell compelling stories that drive alignment and inspire action.
  • Exceptional collaboration skills and ability to quickly build trust with teams and customers.
  • Passion for helping small and medium-sized businesses.
  • Strong point of view and demonstrated impact building products in the age of AI.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Cash compensation: $210,000-$263,000 per year for New York and San Francisco.
  • Full-time employees receive competitive base pay, benefits, and equity in the form of RSUs.
  • Final offer amounts depend on candidate location, experience, and expertise.
