Senior Product Manager - Blockchain

Responsibilities

• Own Rain's onchain product roadmap, including smart contracts, chain and asset coverage, settlement, and payments.
• Partner with engineering on protocol and infrastructure tradeoffs, including contract architecture and upgradeability, collateralization and liquidation logic, node/RPC reliability, gas and fee strategy, bridging, and cross-chain messaging.
• Define which chains, assets, and stablecoins Rain supports based on liquidity, security, cost, partner demand, compliance, and regulatory exposure.
• Drive the security bar for onchain work through audits, monitoring, incident response, and operational guardrails.
• Translate complex protocol and blockchain infrastructure into intuitive product surfaces and partner-facing documentation.
• Gather partner feedback, prioritize high-leverage work, measure adoption, and iterate quickly.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of product management experience, with a record of shipping products from zero to one through scale at a product-led company with a strong engineering culture.
• Deep, hands-on blockchain fluency, including shipped onchain products and unaided reasoning about EVM, Solana, smart contract design, upgrade patterns, gas economics, bridging models, and related tradeoffs.
• Exceptional product judgment, analytical rigor, written and verbal communication, and ability to work with sophisticated partners and engineering teams.
• Senior, autonomous operating style with ownership of problems, plans, and outcomes.
• Strong instincts around onchain security and risk, including audits, monitoring, and balancing delivery timelines against risk.
• Technical fluency in APIs, distributed systems, payments, and ledger design.
• Ability to ship quickly, measure adoption, and iterate in a fast-moving environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with stablecoin issuance, onchain lending, collateralized credit, or tokenized asset products.
• Background at a protocol, L1/L2, wallet, custodian, or onchain infrastructure company.
• Familiarity with Solana, Tron, Bitcoin L2s, and multi-chain operations at scale.
• Experience with payments, card issuing, or cross-border fintech products.
• Working knowledge of digital-asset and custody regulations.
• Startup or hypergrowth experience.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary range: $215,000–$250,000.
