Senior Product Manager

Own the strategy and roadmap for Chainguard’s Console and public Directory, improving onboarding, activation, subscription management, and cross-product workflows. The role requires 5+ years of product management experience and strong UX, growth, data, and cross-functional leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Own the vision and roadmap for Chainguard's Console and public Directory experiences.
  • Simplify workflows, connect products, and create a cohesive experience as the portfolio grows.
  • Define onboarding and activation experiences that reduce friction and improve time-to-value.
  • Build experiences that drive self-service adoption, engagement, and conversion.
  • Shape subscription, plan, access, and other cross-product management workflows.
  • Establish consistent shared workflows and patterns across products.
  • Partner with Engineering, Design, GTM, Growth, and Product leaders to align stakeholders and prioritize investments.
  • Balance short-term growth opportunities with long-term platform investments.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience, ideally with developer-facing, SaaS, platform, or enterprise products.
  • Experience owning user-facing product experiences from strategy through launch and iteration.
  • Demonstrated success improving onboarding, activation, engagement, conversion, or other product-growth metrics.
  • Strong UX and customer-journey instincts, with the ability to partner deeply with Design.
  • Experience building cross-product or platform experiences for multiple customer segments or product lines.
  • Experience instrumenting and building user telemetry systems and patterns.
  • Ability to use data, customer research, and experimentation to identify friction and prioritize improvements.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder-alignment skills.
  • Ability to operate in ambiguity and translate growth objectives into clear product priorities.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with developer tools, infrastructure, security, or other highly technical products.
  • Experience building product-led or developer-led growth motions.
  • Familiarity with subscription management, billing, entitlements, or self-service purchasing.
  • Experience with B2B products serving individual developers and enterprise customers.
  • Experience building shared design patterns or platform capabilities across a multi-product portfolio.
  • Experience partnering with Sales, Marketing, Growth, or Customer Success on adoption and expansion initiatives.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $205,000–$231,000 USD.
