- Own identity, roles, permissions, and authorization end to end.
- Run the authorization layer as a platform for other product teams.
- Make it easier for founders to invite and onboard their teams.
- Shape the product as Mercury supports new kinds of users, including agents.
Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant product management experience, preferably on horizontal product or platform teams accountable for identity, roles, and authorization.
- Strong product judgment and the ability to balance product simplicity with platform power.
- Ability to engage product teams early and build platform leverage.
- Point of view on agentic action and authorization when the actor is not a person.
- Track record of turning ambiguity into a clear point of view independently.
- Ability to take complex problems end to end across research, design, engineering, GTM, and stakeholder management.
Compensation & Benefits
- Total rewards include base salary, equity (stock options/RSUs), and benefits.
- US base salary: $200,700–$250,900.
- Canadian base salary: CAD 189,700–237,100.
- Offers vary based on experience, expertise, geographic location, and internal pay equity.
