Responsibilities
- Partner with Product, Corporate Development, Corporate Strategy, and Go-To-Market leadership to scope ambiguous business questions into actionable partner-powered projects.
- Lead cross-functional project teams and analyses to develop large-scale new business recommendations.
- Communicate findings clearly and concisely to executive management.
- Lead partnerships from initial identification through deal close and product launch, applying Build/Buy/Partner analysis.
- Create business cases, financial models, work plans, market research, and competitive evaluations.
- Interview vendors, customers, industry leaders, and market leaders to maintain thought leadership and subject matter expertise.
- Identify, create, negotiate, and implement business development agreements that drive measurable results.
- Represent the partnership organization in meetings with partner-company executives.
- Maintain partnership records, interactions, meetings, and materials in Salesforce.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from a university or college.
- 5+ years of experience in business strategy and/or partnership management at a leading SaaS or software company, or in strategy consulting.
- Sound business judgment and the ability to prioritize and triage partner-related issues.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Ability to navigate, understand, and enforce contracts.
- Strong technical competence or demonstrated willingness to learn technology.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
