Senior Channel Partner Manager

Build and scale Ramp’s Canadian channel partner motion from the ground up, owning partner sourcing, enablement, activation, referrals, and pipeline generation. The role requires 8+ years of relevant experience, including substantial channel or partner-sales experience, strong consultative selling, and familiarity with Canada’s business ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Build Ramp’s Canadian channel strategy and operating rhythm from the ground up.
  • Research, identify, source, qualify, and sign new Canadian partners.
  • Create joint go-to-market and activation plans for the Canadian partner ecosystem.
  • Generate revenue through partner referrals.
  • Develop trusted relationships with decision-makers and operators at partner organizations.
  • Educate partners on Ramp’s Canadian capabilities, value proposition, and updates.
  • Own partner onboarding, activation, pipeline generation, and regular business reviews.
  • Work with the Canadian Sales team to advance partner-referred opportunities.
  • Partner with Product to surface recurring partner needs and inform the Canadian roadmap.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years in partner sales, business development, channel partnerships, or a related field.
  • High agency, urgency, and resilience.
  • Proven track record sourcing and managing partnerships.
  • Self-starter mindset and willingness to work hands-on in operational details.
  • Strong discovery and consultative-selling skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Strong operating discipline and ability to use data to improve performance.
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong cross-functional judgment and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with the Canadian business and technology ecosystem.
  • Comfort using AI tools to execute quality work quickly.
  • Ability to travel frequently to in-person events in Canada.

Nice to Have

  • Experience building a partner motion, market, or vertical from an early stage.
  • Professional or native-level French fluency.
  • Presence in the Canadian accounting, advisory, private equity, venture capital, financial-services, or technology partner network.
  • Familiarity with finance and accounting workflows and solutions.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary range: CAD 265,000–363,000 annually.
