Architects and governs Salesforce-based Product-to-Cash solutions spanning Revenue Cloud Advanced, CPQ, billing, integrations, and enterprise architecture. The role coaches technical teams and requires extensive Salesforce architecture experience, strong billing expertise, and an AI-first approach.

Responsibilities
- Coach and mentor engineers and solution designers across the Product-to-Cash domain, especially in Revenue Cloud Advanced and billing.
- Partner with the Principal Salesforce Architect to align architectural direction and resolve complex business and technical challenges.
- Produce High-Level Designs (HLD), Low-Level Designs (LLD), and conceptual diagrams for technical and business audiences.
- Manage architecture and system roadmaps in alignment with platform standards and long-term Product-to-Cash strategy.
- Define, maintain, and enforce Salesforce platform standards.
- Build Proofs of Concept (POCs) to validate architecture and design decisions.
- Participate in requirements gathering, clarify scope, and resolve ambiguity early.
- Design and govern integrations with integration teams to ensure reliable data flow across systems.
- Provide hands-on Revenue Cloud Advanced (RCA) and CPQ coaching, including configuration patterns, design trade-offs, and implementation practices.
- Own the end-to-end architecture of the Product-to-Cash lifecycle, including quoting, contracting, ordering, fulfilment, billing, invoicing, revenue, customer success, and customer support.
- Architect and govern billing capabilities, including invoicing, billing schedules, payment handling, dunning, and revenue recognition.
- Identify and resolve process and technology gaps across the Product-to-Cash value chain.
- Apply Agentforce and Claude-based solutions where they provide business or technical value.
- Collaborate with development teams to hand over designs clearly and address requirements during execution.
- Extend the Product-to-Cash solution as products, pricing models, and billing scenarios evolve.
- Apply architecture and engineering principles for scalability, maintainability, security, reliability, extensibility, availability, and manageability.
- Research emerging Salesforce and billing capabilities and recommend robust, cost-effective solutions.
- Promote design patterns and standard solution design and development processes.
- Partner with data, integration, and solution architects to ensure enterprise alignment, data integrity, security, compliance, and seamless system integration.
- Contribute to the enterprise architecture learning community and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of Salesforce experience across implementation, configuration, and solution design.
- 3–5 years of Salesforce architecture experience.
- Deep hands-on experience with Revenue Cloud Advanced (RCA) and CPQ, including coaching and mentoring others.
- Experience producing HLDs, LLDs, conceptual diagrams, and architecture roadmaps.
- Experience architecting and delivering end-to-end Product-to-Cash solutions.
- Strong experience with billing systems and platforms, including invoicing, billing schedules, payments, dunning, and revenue recognition.
- Experience designing and governing cross-system integrations.
- Ability to identify and resolve process and technology gaps across the Product-to-Cash value chain.
- AI-first mindset with exposure to Agentforce and Claude-based solutions.
- Experience with Salesforce Connected Apps and Salesforce AppExchange applications.
- Experience designing and delivering complex B2B SaaS Salesforce solutions.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and the Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Revenue Cloud ecosystems.
- Strong leadership, coaching, interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Understanding of security architecture principles and practices.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with managed packages such as Gong, DocuSign CLM, Kantata, Gainsight, Showpad, Qualtrics, or similar enterprise applications.
- Salesforce Certified Application Architect or Salesforce Certified System Architect certification.
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, C4, or ArchiMate.
