Responsibilities
- Own and manage a high-volume portfolio of mid-market and emerging accounting firms, bookkeeping practices, and CAS/outsourced CFO partners.
- Recruit and onboard new partners, guiding them from initial conversation through activation and their first referral.
- Design and deliver scaled enablement through trainings, webinars, and playbooks to help partners identify and refer sales tax and VAT exposure.
- Track partner and referral activity in Salesforce or a similar CRM and a partner relationship management platform.
- Support partner marketing initiatives, including co-branded content, newsletters, and webinars.
- Conduct regular partner check-ins, answer questions, and identify opportunities to increase referral volume.
- Collaborate with senior accounting partnerships and Sales teams on larger opportunities and channel learnings.
- Monitor referral volume, partner activation, and engagement metrics; report on channel performance.
Requirements
- 2–4+ years of experience in partnerships, channel management, business development, or sales, ideally in the accounting channel.
- Exposure to or genuine interest in accounting, bookkeeping, or advisory services.
- Experience managing a large volume of relationships and prioritizing across a broad portfolio.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Organized, process-oriented approach to pipeline, follow-ups, and reporting.
- Self-starter comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment with evolving processes.
- Willingness to travel for partner events and conferences.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience at a bookkeeping, CAS, or outsourced accounting firm.
- Familiarity with sales tax, VAT, or indirect tax and compliance technology.
