Responsibilities
- Build, lead, hire, coach, and develop a team of Delivery Solution Architects supporting Public Sector customers.
- Own post-sales technical strategy and execution for regional customers, accelerating use cases into production.
- Orchestrate resources, assign accounts, distribute work, and optimize customer coverage and team balance.
- Maintain the team’s advanced knowledge of Databricks and the broader Data + AI ecosystem; support certification and continuous learning goals.
- Serve as a technical sponsor and thought leader for selected customers and advise technical executives on strategic data delivery decisions.
- Partner with Sales, pre-sales, professional services, field engineering, and external partners to accelerate customer growth.
- Monitor customer progress, forecast usage growth, reduce customer risk, manage escalations, and remove blockers.
- Improve internal processes, operational rigor, and Delivery Solution Architecture practice assets.
- Maintain a strong hiring pipeline.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship due to Public Sector client support and classified-information access requirements.
- 7+ years of successful experience in a customer-facing role.
- Proven delivery experience with SaaS technologies, particularly data analytics, data warehousing, data engineering, ETL, machine learning, AI, or data science.
- Experience building and leading technical post-sales teams, including hiring, onboarding, and enablement.
- Experience guiding architecture discussions, use-case go-lives, project and execution plans, and customer growth strategies.
- Experience deploying workloads or data products into production, such as in a delivery architect, project manager, DevOps, or service/product owner role.
- Understanding of business issues and big-data use cases across industries.
- Ability to travel up to 30% around the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
Compensation
- Local pay range: $197,100–$270,975 USD.
- Total compensation may also include an annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits.
