Proven success as a Majors / Strategic Account Executive or Account Director closing $1M+ ACV deals
8+ years of Enterprise / Strategic GTM experience in AI, SaaS, cloud, or data platforms
Established credibility within financial services, insurance, telecom, healthcare, or supply chain, with relationships you can leverage to accelerate early pipeline
A consultative, solutions-oriented approach that combines platform, product, and implementation to drive outcomes
Deep curiosity about Poetic's capabilities and how they can solve a wide range of real-world problems
Willingness to travel. Face-to-face time with senior executives is core to how this role wins
What You'll Do
Drive new business at the tip of the spear. Open new accounts through your own networks and partner directly with the founder to build pipeline and broker introductions between Poetic and large enterprises
Define and own commercial functions: contracting, MSAs, legal, and revenue lifecycle management
Source initial engagements and collaborate with our Deployments function to transform them into multi-workflow, multi-year partnerships
Build out the team over time — covering partnerships, RevOps, and outbound — and own partnership and distribution strategy with systems integrators
Translate customer feedback, objections, and market signal back to the product and deployments teams to sharpen our positioning and product
Strong Candidates Also Have
Experience selling to and influencing the C-suite, with the credibility to drive deals at the executive level
Experience building compounding multi-year partnerships with key parties in an industry
Experience at companies where the sales motion is deeply technical, consultative, and deployment-led
Hiring experience: you've recruited and built GTM teams before and have a strong eye for talent
Player-coach role building and executing sales enablement programs for Otter.ai's Enterprise and AI platform.
