Senior Technical Sales Enablement Manager
Builds and scales technical enablement programs for Solutions Engineering, Technical Account Management, and broader go-to-market teams. The role owns onboarding, training content, cross-functional product-launch support, and measurement of field readiness and revenue impact.

Responsibilities
Technical Enablement Programs
- Design, execute, and continuously improve technical enablement initiatives aligned to business goals and field priorities.
- Own end-to-end program delivery, including content development, facilitation, measurement, and iteration.
- Develop a deep understanding of Docker’s platform and translate complex technical concepts into compelling, role-based learning experiences for pre- and post-sales teams.
Onboarding & Ramp
- Own and evolve technical onboarding programs for Solutions Engineers and Technical Account Managers, helping new hires reach full productivity faster.
- Partner with Solutions Engineering leadership to improve technical selling capabilities and align enablement with evolving field needs.
Cross-Functional Partnership
- Connect technical and non-technical teams across Sales, Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, Product, and Marketing.
- Enable go-to-market teams around product launches by partnering with Product and Marketing to develop timely, high-quality content.
- Build trusted relationships across the go-to-market organization and influence enablement strategy with insight-backed recommendations.
Systems & Continuous Improvement
- Create and maintain enablement content in the LMS and related systems, ensuring discoverability and adoption.
- Use performance data, completion metrics, and field feedback to identify skill gaps and improve programs.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities, pivoting quickly as business needs shift.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a fast-paced SaaS environment in a technical, pre-sales, or technical enablement role.
- Experience designing and delivering scalable technical training programs.
- Track record of managing multiple priorities and executing on tight timelines while maintaining quality.
- Strong ownership mindset and ability to identify gaps, propose solutions, and drive them to completion.
- Confidence communicating with and presenting to senior leadership using data and field insight.
- Familiarity with LMS platforms and content management systems.
- Understanding of SaaS sales cycles and value-based or consultative selling methodologies.
- Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
Nice-to-Haves
- Hands-on experience as a Solutions Engineer or Sales Engineer.
- Experience with Command of the Message or similar structured selling frameworks.
- Exposure to containerization, DevOps tooling, or developer platforms; Docker experience is a significant plus.
- Experience using enablement data and readiness metrics to demonstrate program ROI.
Compensation & Benefits
- Canada: CA$166,950–CA$238,500 + equity.
- United States: $120,400–$172,000 + equity.
