Supports sales operations through Salesforce administration, data maintenance, case triage, account research, reporting, and process automation. Responsibilities
- Maintain and clean sales data, including account hierarchies, duplicate accounts, contact records, cloud organizations, and territory assignments.
- Provide Tier 1 support through the Sales Operations case queue, including case triage, resolution, responses, and escalation to Salesforce administrators or other teams.
- Support Sales Support functions such as Deal Desk, Commissions, and Support Operations.
- Administer users in sales tools, including activation and deactivation.
- Identify trends in issues and requests and recommend improvements to processes, tools, and training.
- Configure Salesforce and other sales tools, including territory management and user hierarchy systems.
- Identify and qualify new accounts for global territory bullpens.
- Research accounts and executives to create pipeline-generation reports and target lists.
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Write SQL queries to automate manual processes.
- Create Sigma and Tableau dashboards.
- Analyze code segments and work with internal customers across time zones.
- Create requirements documentation, project timeline estimates, UAT scenarios, and automation release plans.
- Produce SOP documentation and adapt to shifting priorities and variable request volumes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Operations, Business, Project Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 2.5 years of sales operations experience preferred.
- Three years of SQL experience.
- Strong Salesforce knowledge, including accounts, contacts, leads, and opportunities.
- Experience with large-volume data and sales-cycle processes and segmentation.
- Advanced Excel and Macros proficiency.
- Strong SQL and business intelligence automation skills.
- Good data warehouse knowledge.
- Critical thinking, problem-solving, troubleshooting, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Process- and business-oriented mindset.
- Strong problem identification, articulation, stakeholder-management, and customer-service skills.
- Collaborative, proactive, adaptable, and open to feedback.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Data Loader, Demand Tools, Workbench, or similar bulk-update tools.
- Knowledge of ZoomInfo, InsideView, Crunchbase, LeadIQ, or Cognism.
- Experience with Salesforce, Zendesk, Jira, or similar case-management systems.
- Experience with Sigma or Tableau.
- Experience creating documentation and supporting UAT and automation releases.
