Own Phonely’s public voice and build its content engine from the ground up, creating high-volume video and written content for business audiences. The role requires a strong independent portfolio, AI-assisted production habits, on-camera confidence, and end-to-end production skills.

Responsibilities

  • Own Phonely’s public voice, messaging, and content direction.
  • Publish 5–10 pieces per week initially and increase output over time.
  • Build repeatable, AI-assisted content production workflows.
  • Identify stories from real customer phone-line experiences and publish them quickly.
  • Manage the full content process: concepting, shooting, directing, editing, publishing, and responding.
  • Feature founders, engineers, sales representatives, and customers on camera.
  • Develop channel strategy across LinkedIn, YouTube, Meta, and other relevant platforms.
  • Repurpose content into paid creative for growth campaigns.
  • Attend launches, customer sites, industry events, and podcasts as a company representative.
  • Establish a consistent production cadence, grow channel audiences, measure impressions and qualified leads, and develop a repeatable on-camera voice.

Requirements

  • A self-directed portfolio of at least 100 pieces created without client assignments or formal briefs.
  • AI-native content production habits and experience using tools to increase output.
  • Comfortable speaking on camera without a script or autocue.
  • Strong editorial judgment and ability to analyze why content performs well or poorly.
  • Experience across shooting, producing, editing, and publishing using self-taught or independently selected tools.
  • Willingness to work onsite in San Francisco five days per week.

Compensation and Benefits

  • $80,000–$150,000 annual compensation.
