Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive HR strategy for Flexport's fulfillment operations, aligned with business objectives and growth plans.
  • Lead the transition from a temporary to a full-time workforce across fulfillment centers, including legal compliance, policy development, talent acquisition, and employee integration.
  • Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing HR team across geographically dispersed fulfillment center locations.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies, practices, and programs across multiple states; mitigate risk and manage claims and policy adherence.
  • Partner with Operations leadership on talent management, workforce planning, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Drive culture, employee engagement, and diversity and inclusion initiatives across the fulfillment network.

Requirements

  • Experience leading HR functions in multi-site, large-scale operational environments such as fulfillment, logistics, or manufacturing.
  • Expertise in workforce planning, talent acquisition, and employee relations for large non-exempt workforces.
  • Success building and scaling HR capabilities in new regions or rapidly expanding organizations.
  • Strong knowledge of US labor laws, claims management, and multi-state compliance requirements, particularly in New Jersey, Wisconsin, Texas, Georgia, and California.
  • 12+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • A compliance-first approach in a heavily regulated industry.

Compensation and Benefits

  • US base salary range: $185,000–$230,000 USD.
