Develops and maintains software integrations for VoIP hardware, including device management, provisioning, activation, and control. The role requires experience across front-end and back-end technologies, Python or comparable languages, databases, testing, networking protocols, RESTful APIs, and Git.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software solutions and integrations that interface with VoIP devices, including IP phones, SIP adapters, ATA adapters, and DECT base stations.
- Design and implement features and improvements for device management, provisioning, activation, and control in the UI.
- Troubleshoot production and customer-related device issues.
- Write and maintain comprehensive unit tests for device integration management software.
- Review peers’ code to maintain code quality.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Design, and cross-functional engineering teams to translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Work closely with QA throughout the feature lifecycle.
- Pursue self-development and continuous improvement to stay current with relevant technologies.
Requirements
- Professional experience as a Software Engineer.
- Hands-on experience with Python or other relevant structured languages.
- Experience with both front-end and back-end technologies.
- Experience working with databases.
- Expertise in unit testing.
- Familiarity with networking protocols, including TCP and UDP.
- Experience with RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with version control systems, including Git.
Compensation
- Target base salary range for British Columbia, Canada: $175,500–$218,250 CAD.
- Compensation reflects base salary only and excludes bonus, equity, and benefits.
