Subject Matter Expert, GTM GRC - Revenue
Provides deep GRC expertise to Strategic and Enterprise sales teams, guiding compliance architecture, customer evaluations, enablement, and AI-assisted answers. Responsibilities
- Serve as the dedicated GRC subject matter expert for Strategic and Enterprise account executives throughout discovery, qualification, demos, proofs of concept, workshops, customer onsites, close, and expansion.
- Scope compliance programs across Compliance, Third-Party Risk Management, Risk Management, and Trust/Questionnaire Automation.
- Advise prospects on multi-framework strategy, shared controls, business-unit and workspace scoping, custom frameworks, and audit sequencing.
- Answer customer-facing field questions and review AI-generated answers for accuracy against authoritative sources.
- Design and deliver GTM enablement, including live training, bootcamps, mock-customer roleplays, asynchronous curriculum, and content reviews.
- Maintain alignment with sales managers, provide structured product feedback, and support post-sales handoffs.
- Travel approximately once per quarter for customer onsite engagements, workshops, offsites, and events.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on GRC experience, including building, operating, transforming, or advising on multi-framework compliance programs.
- Experience with frameworks or regulations such as SOC 2, ISO 27001/27017/27018/27701, HIPAA/HITRUST, PCI DSS 4.0, GDPR, US privacy requirements, and NIST CSF 2.0.
- Working fluency in at least one of AI governance, GRC engineering/continuous monitoring, or enterprise risk.
- Customer-facing ability with CISOs, founders, procurement teams, and enterprise stakeholders.
- Production-quality writing for customer answers, scoping documents, and playbooks.
- Demonstrated use of LLM tooling in compliance work and ability to evaluate AI output.
- Ability to train, present, publish, or enable others, including delivery to large GTM audiences.
- Familiarity with MEDDPICC or similar sales processes and audit processes.

- Expertise across multiple GRC pillars, including Governance, Data Governance, Compliance, Risk Management, Third-Party Risk Management, Continuous Monitoring, Privacy, Trust, and AI Security & Governance.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Lead Implementer, CIPP, CIPT, or AI governance credentials.
- Interest in building AI-enabled compliance tooling.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary: $171,000–$201,000 annually, plus equity.
