Responsibilities
- Partner with Account Executives to advance opportunities from discovery through close and secure the technical win.
- Conduct discovery and requirements analysis to understand operational pain points, business impact, and success criteria.
- Create and deliver tailored technical demonstrations, presentations, architecture discussions, and proof-of-concept work.
- Communicate platform value to line-of-business managers, C-level executives, and IT stakeholders.
- Build Business Value Assessments connecting operational improvements to financial outcomes.
- Develop proposals and responses to RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, technical assessments, and security questionnaires.
- Lead implementation-project scoping and estimation with Professional Services.
- Provide structured feedback to Product and Engineering on prospect requests, capability gaps, and competitive patterns.
- Improve team playbooks, demo environments, evaluation frameworks, and internal AI tooling.
- Travel approximately 10–30% depending on demand.
Requirements
- 5–10+ years of enterprise SaaS pre-sales experience as a Solutions Engineer, Solutions Consultant, or equivalent.
- Experience selling to or working with manufacturing companies on digital transformation.
- Experience with manufacturing and industrial systems such as MES/MoM, LES/LIMS, WMS, QMS, ERP, SPC, or IIoT.
- Manufacturing or industrial operations experience and a strong understanding of the shop floor.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to audiences from the shop floor to the C-suite.
- Fluency in German and English, with the ability to speak, write, and comprehend German fluently.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, such as Mechanical, Industrial, or Computer Science.
- Ability to quickly assimilate and apply new concepts, business models, and technologies.

- Experience using AI tools for RFx drafting, demo building, requirements synthesis, or coding assistance.
- Knowledge of SaaS, IIoT, cloud, and AI.
