Responsibilities
- Develop new broker relationships from inbound leads and strategic outreach.
- Identify target agencies for new outbound campaigns.
- Meet targets for qualified opportunities, sales pipeline value, and closed business.
- Report, track, and manage sales activities and results.
- Manage post-sales activities for Coalition’s broker partners through relationship-building, product knowledge, planning, and execution.
- Own responsibility for broker satisfaction with Coalition’s services.
- Maintain a deep understanding of insurance and technology solutions and discuss relevant features and functionality with brokers.
- Identify risks to brokers achieving their business goals and work to resolve them.
- Monitor performance, identify trends in Coalition adoption and utilization, and provide guidance during periodic Success Reviews.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience selling or underwriting commercial insurance.
- Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong verbal and written interpersonal communication skills.
- Aptitude for learning technical concepts and terminology.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Nice-to-haves
- Familiarity with cyber and technology errors and omissions insurance.
- Existing relationships with potential broker partners.
- Technical background in cybersecurity, engineering, or computer science.
