Responsibilities
- Recruit resellers as the primary focus of the role.
- Drive distribution of Square’s products through the global reseller community.
- Lead deal execution independently, including:
- Identifying and prioritizing targets
- Meeting with prospects
- Developing business cases
- Structuring deals
- Negotiating terms and contracts
- Closing and signing agreements
- Launching partnerships
- Partner with Product Management, Marketing, Finance, Sales, Legal, and other internal teams.
- Own the business results of established partnerships.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience signing, launching, and growing distribution partnerships with ISOs, ISVs, and VARs that produced measurable customer acquisition and revenue growth.
- Deep understanding of the global reseller landscape, market dynamics, and key issues.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to demonstrate return on investment for partner initiatives.
- Excellent project management skills and ability to lead cross-functional, global initiatives.
- Strategic thinking and ability to identify and capitalize on new growth opportunities.
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
