Business Development Representative
The Business Development Representative will prospect and qualify musculoskeletal healthcare practices, create outbound engagement, and book well-qualified meetings for Account Executives. The role is designed for an early-career salesperson with at least one year of experience, strong communication skills, resilience, and comfort working remotely.

Responsibilities
- Prospect outbound into musculoskeletal practices, including orthopedics, spine, pain management, physiatry, and physical therapy, using email, phone, and LinkedIn.
- Research target accounts, including practice size, specialty mix, EMR, provider count, and likely pain points.
- Write and personalize outbound sequences for practice administrators and other healthcare decision-makers.
- Make high-volume outbound calls and speak with gatekeepers, office managers, practice administrators, and physician-owners.
- Qualify inbound leads against ideal customer profile criteria.
- Book qualified meetings for Account Executives and provide thorough opportunity briefings.
- Maintain accurate CRM activity, notes, next steps, and disposition data.
- Share market feedback, objections, competitive mentions, and messaging insights with sales, marketing, and product teams.
- Meet or exceed monthly targets for qualified meetings and opportunities created.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of professional experience.
- Comfort with phone-based prospecting and unsolicited calls.
- Clear, concise written communication.
- Curiosity about business operations and practice economics.
- Resilience in the face of rejection.
- Strong organization and self-direction in a remote environment.
- Willingness to receive coaching through call and pipeline reviews.
Nice to Have
- Experience with healthcare, medical practices, revenue cycle management, or health technology.
- Experience with CRM and sales engagement tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, Salesloft, Apollo, or ZoomInfo.
- Prior SDR/BDR internship, campus sales program, or commission-based work.
- Comfort using AI tools in daily workflows.
