Enterprise Account Executive - Higher Education
Own enterprise sales across the higher education vertical, winning new university customers and expanding accounts across research, recognition, and stipend use cases. Responsibilities
- Own and grow the higher education vertical across an open territory in the United States.
- Build, segment, and pursue target account lists.
- Sell research participant payments, employee recognition, and student stipends to colleges and universities.
- Identify additional use cases within higher education.
- Multi-thread across campuses, build internal referrals, and expand accounts across departments.
- Navigate RFPs, procurement reviews, security questionnaires, and purchasing consortiums.
- Own quota and forecast accountability.
- Self-source the majority of pipeline, supported by SDR outreach and inbound leads.
- Manage longer, multi-stakeholder sales cycles while maintaining pipeline momentum.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of SaaS sales experience.
- Current experience in a mid-market or enterprise Account Executive role.
- Consistent record of quota attainment.
- Strong presentation and concise communication skills.
- Business acumen to create new sales opportunities and expand existing accounts.
- Ability to self-source most of the sales pipeline.
- Comfort with complex, committee-driven buying processes.

- Experience selling to higher education or the public sector.
- Experience in another committee-driven buying environment.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary: $130,000–$150,000 annually.
- On-target earnings: $260,000–$300,000 annually.
