Marketing Manager

First Marketing Manager building content-led, founder-driven marketing programs at an AI infrastructure startup. Owns content calendar, social media, events, executive dinners, and reporting.

About the job

What You'll Work On

  • Content calendar and operating rhythm. Build and maintain a rolling content calendar that tracks each piece, its owner, the date, and its status, and keep the team on schedule against publish dates.
  • Notion teamspace. Keep our marketing teamspace current. Maintain a page for each event and campaign with its timeline and deliverables, update the status as work progresses, and ensure everyone can rely on Notion as the single source of truth.
  • Social media management. Stay on top of our presence on X and LinkedIn every day. Monitor mentions, replies, and relevant conversations; respond and engage in real time; and catch what automation misses.
  • Publishing operations. Schedule and post on X and LinkedIn for the company accounts and the founders; run the publishing pipeline; maintain posting cadence; and reuse content across channels.
  • Blog and website. Post to the blog, manage the publishing process, and make website updates, including copy changes and media asset updates.
  • Event operations. Run event logistics, including the booth, venue, swag, signage, vendors, lead capture, and post-event recaps.
  • Executive dinners. Plan and run our executive dinners. You'll find and book the venue, sort out the logistics, and execute the event with sales and the founders, including following up afterward.
  • Measurement and reporting. Build and maintain the monthly executive dashboard and quarterly reporting. Keep the underlying data up to date and deliver the report on time so the team can see how reach, engagement, and pipeline are tracking.

About You

  • 3 - 6 years of B2B marketing experience, ideally at a technical company working on developer tools, AI infrastructure, data infrastructure, or similar
  • Early-stage startup experience; you know what it’s like to build the playbook as you execute it
  • Strong project management instinct; comfortable running multiple workstreams in parallel without dropping balls
  • Self-starter mentality so you can take an objective, build a plan, and run with it without waiting for direction
  • Solid writer with clean prose, even on technical topics; can produce competent first drafts that don’t need rewriting
  • Detail-oriented in a way that’s load-bearing for everyone around you
  • Curious about AI and ML. You don’t need to be a researcher, but you should be able to engage credibly with our research team and translate their work for broader audiences
  • Comfortable in Notion, Slack, and modern marketing tooling like Clay and Apollo
  • Bias toward action; you’d rather put your head down and get stuff done than just coordinate

Nice to Have

  • Previous experience marketing at a startup, or scaling as part of a small marketing team
  • Familiarity with AI-driven content workflows and modern publishing automation
  • Experience supporting founder-led or executive content programs
  • A track record of running technical product launches end-to-end

Compensation

  • Salary range: $130,000 to $175,000
  • 100% covered health benefits (medical, vision, and dental)
  • 401(k) plan with a generous 4% company match
  • Unlimited PTO policy
  • Paid Parental Leave of 12 weeks, plus 6 months of WFH flexibility
