Commercial Renewals Manager
Manages customer contract renewals across APJ, driving retention, expansion, forecasting, and strategic customer engagement. The role requires experience in renewals or an equivalent customer-facing function, complex contract negotiation skills, strong organization, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities
- Manage and renew customer contracts across APJ to support customer retention and revenue growth.
- Build and maintain customer relationships, understand customer needs, and proactively engage customers to ensure timely renewals.
- Address customer concerns and issues promptly while providing excellent customer service.
- Negotiate customer contracts at favorable terms and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations that communicate the value of contract renewal.
- Analyze data and metrics to identify renewal risks, opportunities, and trends.
- Develop and execute strategic renewal plans tailored to customer requirements, including contract terms, pricing, and product offerings.
- Collaborate with sales, customer success, legal, and other internal teams on account strategies, expansion opportunities, and customer issues.
- Manage a large portfolio of contracts and renewals, including follow-up, documentation, and completion of renewal activities.
- Use internal systems and account-team information to forecast renewals in the short and long term.
- Share win and loss stories, operational improvements, and other initiatives with local and global teams.
- Occasionally attend global meetings, training, kickoffs, and other activities outside local office hours.
Requirements
- Experience in renewals, customer success, sales, account management, or an equivalent customer-facing role.
- Experience negotiating complex license agreements.
- Experience working with customers across APJ, including Australia, Japan, Singapore, and Korea.
- Ability to close deals tactfully with integrity and independence.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, prioritization, and time-management skills.
- Strong oral, written, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent renewals and workload spikes at the end of quarters.
- Experience recording information in CRM systems.
- Team-oriented, enthusiastic, self-motivated, tenacious, and focused on continuous improvement.
- Proven influencing and negotiation skills.
- Flexibility to attend occasional global meetings, training, and kickoffs.
