Product Operations Lead

Leads product operations as a strategic partner to the Chief Product Officer, overseeing metrics, planning cadences, executive communications, and cross-functional initiatives. Requires executive-facing experience, strong analytical and presentation skills, and exceptional project organization.

Responsibilities

  • Define, track, and report product KPIs, operational metrics, SLAs, and product performance dashboards in partnership with product, engineering, and data science teams.
  • Identify bottlenecks in the product development lifecycle and improve roadmap management, feedback loops, internal communications, and product release processes.
  • Manage the product team’s operational cadence, including weekly syncs, product reviews, and roadmapping tools.
  • Support quarterly and annual product planning, OKR setting, budget setting, and strategic alignment.
  • Draft executive presentations, summaries, and quarterly reports for board meetings, company all-hands, and leadership meetings.
  • Represent the Chief Product Officer in key meetings, capture context, drive decisions, and ensure follow-up.
  • Lead cross-departmental special projects such as internal tool rollouts and PRD template development.
  • Connect product teams, identify dependencies, bottlenecks, overlaps, and opportunities, and escalate issues when appropriate.

Requirements

  • Experience in product operations, product management, management consulting, strategy, or program management in an executive-facing capacity.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and executive presence, with the ability to represent CPO perspectives, facilitate senior-leader meetings, and drive consensus.
  • Ability to establish basic tracking systems and derive actionable insights from product analytics and KPIs.
  • Comfort using AI tools to create content, design processes, build tools, and automate recurring tasks.
  • Outstanding written and visual communication skills, including the ability to translate complex strategy into clear, engaging presentations.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.

Compensation

  • Metro 2 salary range: $190,000–$230,000 annually.
  • Metro 3 salary range: $145,000–$175,000 annually.
  • Variable company bonus may apply.
