People Systems Analyst
Supports and improves HR and talent systems by translating People Operations needs into requirements, leading implementations and testing, and managing production support. Responsibilities
- Partner with People Operations, Talent Acquisition, and HR stakeholders to conduct discovery, translate business needs into requirements, and recommend system solutions.
- Lead end-to-end delivery for system implementations and enhancements, including requirements gathering, solution design, UAT planning and execution, cutover coordination, go-live deployment, and hypercare support.
- Create and own test plans and scripts, track defects, and coordinate cross-functional testers.
- Administer, configure, and support HR systems, including ServiceNow HRSD and Ashby.
- Triage support requests, troubleshoot issues, research root causes, manage escalations, and communicate resolution timelines.
- Ensure data integrity across HR platforms and downstream systems while following data governance, compliance, and security policies.
- Document processes, configuration decisions, and procedures; assist with end-user training and quick reference guides.
- Use AI tools to improve and automate People Systems tasks and processes.
Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on business systems analyst experience in HR technology, including discovery, requirements documentation, testing, and project-based deployment ownership.
- Experience supporting system implementations in a high-growth, global environment.
- Experience leading UAT and regression testing, writing test scripts, organizing testers, tracking defects, and driving issues to resolution.
- Experience with cutover planning, go-live coordination, and hypercare support.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a methodical, detail-oriented approach.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and changing priorities.
- Customer-service orientation and collaborative mindset.
- Experience experimenting with AI tools such as Cortex Code, CoWork, Gemini, or ChatGPT.
Nice-to-haves
- ServiceNow HRSD administration and business systems analysis, including catalog items, flows, HR case management, and configuration.
- Ashby or another comparable applicant tracking system.
- Workday HCM configuration, business processes, or production support.
- Familiarity with HR data governance and sensitive employee data.
Compensation
- Salary range: $118,000–$155,400 annually.
