IT Operations Engineer
The IT Operations Engineer builds integrations and automations across enterprise IT and business systems, administers platforms, and improves reliability, availability, and disaster recovery. The role requires 3+ years of enterprise IT or systems engineering experience, coding ability in Python or Bash, API expertise, and a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain integrations and automations connecting IT and business systems.
- Administer, configure, and optimize core IT platforms and business SaaS applications.
- Script and deploy organization-wide solutions using Python, Bash, or similar tools.
- Integrate systems through APIs and webhooks, handling authentication, rate limits, retries, and errors.
- Troubleshoot IT systems, endpoints, identity, and integrations; support escalations from IT Support.
- Improve availability through proactive monitoring, performance remediation, and reliability measures.
- Contribute to disaster recovery planning and execution.
- Identify, scope, and deliver system and process improvements autonomously.
- Create documentation, configuration standards, and runbooks for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Partner with engineering, security, and compliance teams on governed solutions.
- Share knowledge and communicate technical concepts, risks, and trade-offs clearly.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on IT or systems engineering experience in an enterprise environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- Strong API fluency, including REST, JSON, OAuth, and webhooks.
- Ability to read and write Python, Bash, or similar code.
- Experience integrating and automating SaaS platforms and business systems.
- Experience applying AI and LLM-based automation to reduce operational work.
- Ability to work autonomously amid ambiguity and incomplete documentation.
- Fundamentals in systems administration, corporate directory and identity, networking, and endpoint management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Pragmatic, iterative delivery approach.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with MDM solutions such as Jamf and Intune.
- Experience supporting macOS at scale.
- Familiarity with automation and workflow tooling and version control systems.
- Experience with monitoring, observability, and resilient, highly available services.
- Relevant industry certifications.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual base salary varies by location. The ATS-listed salary range is $106,873–$170,336 USD.
- Base salary excludes bonus, equity, and benefits.
