Tech Ops Systems Engineer/ SysAdmin

Responsibilities
- Resolve technical issues ranging from day-to-day requests to complex escalations while reducing ticket volume through knowledge base design and automation.
- Manage Mac hardware provisioning, zero-touch onboarding, remote logistics, repairs, and inventory lifecycle.
- Maintain and integrate the SaaS ecosystem, including Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Okta, 1Password, Jamf Pro, and Kolide.
- Drive initiatives that automate, secure, and scale TechOps capabilities.
- Partner with Security to audit systems, close gaps, and strengthen compliance.
- Create self-service content, SOPs, and internal enablement materials in Notion.
- Own tooling strategy and vendor management, including SaaS selection, vendor relationships, catalog ownership, and contract visibility.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience as a systems administrator.
- 2+ years supporting Google Workspace, macOS, Okta, and Jamf Pro.
- Customer-focused approach with strong troubleshooting, empathy, and follow-through.
- Experience supporting, creating, and owning an automated SaaS stack.
- High accuracy and attention to detail.
- Basic networking knowledge, including routers, VLANs, and VPNs.
- Understanding of how AI can automate, optimize, and scale TechOps capabilities.
- Basic security and compliance knowledge, including Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability.
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
- Sound judgment when handling confidential information.
